Yeah, it has been just beautiful here except the last 3 days. We have made 100 mile rides most every day of the Christmas-New Year period. I have found the most interesting rides by using Yahoo maps and scaling in and out. Finding interconnecting back roads that can take you all over the state without interstates. I have found a route that would take me to the Fl. Keys all on back roads. Could probably ride all over the country this way. All I need is the time and a tougher butt.
I saw a documentary on Daytona Bike Week on TV last weekend. There were three old guys 60's+ that rode from Calif. to Daytona 2,500 miles in 4 days!
They started before sunrise each day and rode till they fell off I guess. I can't imagine, I couldn't have done that in my younger years. I AM a wuss. Oh well, it will give me something to strive towards. Happy Trails.
